Sports related with Shoulder dislocation / subluxation

Shoulder subluxation is based on incomplete dislocation (joint surfaces are still together), but dislocation is connected with an abnormal separation of joint surfaces. Subluxation occurs mostly in young athletes, and dislocation is the most common shoulder injury in elderly athletes. Most shoulder dislocations are caused when the athlete, with outstretched or overhead arm, is tackled (object, other sportsman), so his arm is stopped and the body continues to move forward. It’s often in American football, wrestling or rugby. Athletes, who train sports involving repetitive overhead motions or throwing, are more prone to suffering shoulder dislocations.
